It's more than a wedding day. It's waking to the distant roar of lions, watching elephants wander by as you exchange your vows, celebrating with champagne as the African sun melts below the horizon, and falling asleep beneath a sky overflowing with stars. Then waking to your first morning as husband and wife, sipping fresh coffee or mimosas from your private plunge pool while the wilderness comes alive around you.
It's a wedding where nothing pulls you away from what matters most: each other. With no pressure to entertain guests or stick to a packed schedule, you have the freedom to slow down, be fully present, and soak in every unforgettable moment together.

“What I will remember most, though, is how our wedding day felt. Instead of rushing around, managing guests and trying to make everyone else happy, I got to spend every moment with the love of my life, completely present and soaking in every second together. It was, without question, the best day of my life.” — S & L

“I genuinely have no words. These are the most beautiful photos I have ever seen, and somehow you delivered them less than 24 hours after our wedding. We will treasure them forever.”

Hi, I’m Heidi — a South African-born photographer helping couples create intimate safari elopements that feel meaningful, beautiful, and completely unlike a traditional wedding day.
Because I grew up in South Africa, this work is personal to me. I’m not just sending you somewhere pretty. I’m helping you experience a place I deeply love, with people and lodges I trust.
My team and I help guide the full experience: the lodge, the timeline, the ceremony setting, the photography, and the little details that make the day feel effortless.
Whether this is your first time in Africa or a dream you’ve had for years, I’ll help you feel taken care of from the first inquiry to the final gallery.
Not sure if a safari elopement is for you? Then don't just take my word for it, check out what our couples from all over the world are saying.

Yes. We only work with private reserves that meet strict safety and conservation standards. Lodges escort you, guide you, and ensure your entire experience is secure.
May–September (dry season) is ideal for wildlife visibility and golden light. October–April is lush, green, and warmer — gorgeous for photos.
Absolutely. Many couples bring 2–10 guests and make it a shared adventure. Pricing will be given upon request.
Most couples invest $18,000-$35,000. Pricing depends on the lodge, time of year and personal add ons. My packages are all inclusive for 2. Guests are an additional add on.
Most couples do the paperwork at home and have a symbolic ceremony on safari. We can however, assist with having a legal ceremony for an additional cost.
International flights, travel insurance, alcoholic beverages and any personal add-on activities.
Your food will be prepared by professional chefs and is of the highest quality. Breakfast, lunch and 3 course dinner will be served, as well as mid morning and mid afternoon snacks on safari.
