Ahavah Cottage is a modern wedding venue located in Elysian, Minnesota. It is owned by Leslie Lee who is a devoted mom, a small business owner and a registered nurse. This beautiful 3acre wedding venue has two ceremony spaces, both indoor and outdoor. There is a large parking lot to accommodate all guests and is wheelchair accessible. It can accommodate 210 guests and is available through all the seasons!
The Getting Ready Space at Ahavah Cottage
Ahavah Cottage has two intimate getting ready spaces. One called the Chateau Suite and one called the Meadow Suite. They are located on opposite sides of the building to ensure both the Bride and Groom can get ready at the same space without having to see each other. For larger bridal parties, hair and make up can be done in front of the white room fire place in the reception area.
Ceremony Space at Ahavah Cottage
There are two ceremony locations that can seat up to 210 guests for an inside or outdoor ceremony. The outdoor ceremony is nestled between beautiful trees and has a wooden arch at the end of the aisle. There are white benches for seating and a paved walkway down the aisle. The indoor space is elegant and modern with 3 large windows at the end of the aisle. The black and white walls makes for a beautiful back drop in the photos. There are plenty of beautiful locations for bride and groom portraits as well as wedding party photos around the ceremony spaces.
The Cocktail Hour Space
After your ceremony, guests will be able to enjoy cocktail hour both inside and outside. There’s a large wooden bar with an overhead door that opens up to the outside space. Here you’ll find string lights hanging from a black pergola, with comfy outdoor seating and propane outdoor heaters if needed. There’s also a mini put-put section for entertainment purposes.
The Reception Space at Ahavah Cottage
The indoor reception space is called the White Room and has a beautiful loft overlooking the classic black and white space. There’s a fire place, a greenery photo wall and seats up to 210 guests. The dance floor is also located in the reception space. Tables and chairs will need to be moved to create space for the dance floor.
