• Wayzata Beach & Boardwalk: One of my favorite locations for Wayzata engagement photos is Wayzata Beach. Located at 220 Grove Ln E, Wayzata, MN 55391. With open waterfront views of Lake Minnetonka, it’s perfect for sunset portraits along the boardwalk and docks. You can easily access it with public parking right at the beach entrance.
• Lake Street: The heart of downtown Wayzata provides a mix of charming storefronts, small-town streets, and cozy urban vibes. We typically park nearby and stroll along Lake Street E in Wayzata, MN 55391 to capture a variety of candid shots and scenic backdrops.
• The Depot Park: The vintage train depot at 402 Lake St E, Wayzata, MN 55391 makes a unique backdrop that feels timeless and gives your gallery even more variety.
• Wayzata Sailing Club Area: The sailboats and docks at Broadway Docks near Broadway Ave N, Wayzata, MN 55391 add that classic Lake Minnetonka vibe that feels so Minnesota.

Wayzata shines year-round, but my personal favorites are:

• Summer: Lake Minnetonka is alive, boats are in the water, and sunset light lasts until 8:30-9:00pm.
• Fall: The trees lining the beach and parks turn beautiful shades of orange and gold – perfect for cozy fall engagement outfits.
• Spring: Fresh greenery and blooming flowers make for soft, romantic portraits.
