Below you will find the prospective itinerary for each day. Make sure to fly into O.R Tambo International Airport a day before the retreat, stay over at the Hotel at the airport and fly into Hoedspruit the next day (day of the retreat). You will be picked up from Hoedspruit airport and transported to the lodge.

12PM: Pick up at Hoedspruit airport and drive to Isambane Lodge
2PM: Arrive at Isambane Lodge where you will get shown your rooms
2:30PM: Lunch at Isambane Lodge overlooking the wild
4:30PM: Sunset Game drive with sundowners and snacks
8PM: Dinner
10PM: Bed time

5AM: Sunrise Safari Drive and Shoot 1. Coffee and morning drinks on Safari will be provided
9AM: Breakfast back at Lodge. Downtime at pool. (Possible pool shoot 3 with elephants - We will be very flexible with this shoot as we don't know when the elephants will come and drink from the pool)
10:30AM: Massages
2:30PM: Lunch
4:30PM: Sunset Safari Drive with snacks and Shoot 2
8PM: 3 Course dinner

Where You'll Stay
Isambane Bush Lodge is situated in the Greater Kruger, one of the wildest places in South Africa. Isambane Bush Lodge is an eco camp completely off the grid. There are beautiful private rooms, each with its own bathroom and private deck overlooking the wild. The Lodge is completely unfenced, allowing wild animals to roam free. Imagine waking up to an elephant feeding on a tree next to your room! Or taking a shower while seeing giraffes in the near distance! You can experience all this and more at Isambane Bush Lodge!

Born and bred in South Africa.
I moved to Minnesota when I was 22 years old. My husband and I travel to South Africa every year over the US winters to visit my family and photograph weddings and elopements.
I've poured so much of my heart and soul into these retreats and I'm SO excited to share some of my culture and home country with you!
My goal for you when attending this retreat, is to truly HAVE FUN and make life long connections on this trip while investing in your business! I want you to be able to book your dream clients in amazing locations! In order to do just that, you need to show your audience actual content from the places you wish to shoot at!
I want to get to know you and be your friend :) No, really!
My previous attendees and I are in a group together and we update each other on life, chat about struggles, lift each other up and help each other where needed. (We even go to concerts together!)

Q: Where should I fly into?
A: The closest airport is Hoedspruit
I recommend flying into O.R Tambo International airport in Johannesburg and stay at THIS hotel. The next morning, fly into Hoedspruit airport. That is where you will be picked up.
Q: Can I bring my partner/mom/person who is not a photographer
A: Yes! You are more than welcome to bring your husband, mom, sister whoever!
Even if they are not a photographer. They will still be able to come on all the safaris, have a massage, all meals etc! It will be 20% off for both of you, when you book with a friend.
Q: Is there wifi at the lodge?
A: Yes, there is wifi at the lodge
Make sure to bring a wall adaptor for you chargers, hair tools, cameras etc! South Africa uses type C, D and M (Mainly M type)

A: All attendees will share a room with one other person. Both of you will have your own private bathroom and deck overlooking the wild.

A: There will be 2 model couples. Every effort is made to prioritize diversity with the model selection.
