As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege of shooting in numerous beautiful venues, but few compare to the Van Dusen Mansion in Minneapolis, MN! It is one of my favorite venues and should definitely be considered as your wedding venue!

A Glimpse into the Venues History

Stepping into the Van Dusen Mansion is seriously like stepping back in time as it was built in 1892! It has been restored since then and is used as a wedding venue. From its rich woodwork and Persian rugs to its stained glass windows and chandeliers, every corner of this mansion is a testament to its true elegance!

Van Dusen Mansion offers custom packages designed to make your wedding unique! Imagine getting ready in the suites, then having your wedding outdoors in the courtyard. Additionally, with their custom wedding packages, you are able to book this venue for 12 hours and bring in your own wedding vendors! Essential Package

If you are looking for a package that includes everything Van Dusen Mansion has you covered! Their Essential Package covers everything you need for your wedding!

Venue: 12-hour private rental, indoor or outdoor ceremony, social hour, dinner, and dance.
Food & Beverage: Plated dinner, tiered wedding cake, and hosted beer, wine, and spirits.
Professional Vendors: Choose between a 7-hour photographer with a second shooter or an 8-hour videographer, plus a floral credit or photo booth options.

$16,500 for 50 guests

$21,000 for 100 guests

$25,500 for 150 guests

Different Event Spaces in the Van Dusen Mansion

The Jade Room

This gorgeous room is a lounge for you and your wedding party. It has a makeup room, a large seating area, and a private restroom making it a perfect spot for getting ready photos.

The Club Room

This room has a vintage pool table, television, video games, and Chesterfield sofas, the Club Room offers a more relaxed atmosphere.

The Ballroom

The ballroom is the main reception space; it seats up to 175 guests. It also has elegant chandeliers, beaded wall coverings, and terrazzo floors that creates a sophisticated setting for your reception!

The Carriage House

This room is a swanky, club-like space perfect for an exciting dance party. It has a large wooden dance floor and a second-floor mezzanine. Usually, couples and their guests head here for their big exit!

The Courtyard

This beautiful courtyard is surrounded by lush gardens and trees. It is super romantic and perfect for your ceremony and cocktail hour.
